Applying your MacBook Skin
These tips and instructions should be used to help you apply your skin.
The application process is fairly easy though should be done with patience and care, undertaken in a well-lit space and on a flat sturdy surface. We recommend using a plastic credit card to help with the application to smooth out any bubbles.
Firstly and most importantly we before removing the skin from the backing sheet ensure your skin is the right fit for your MacBook by holding it over the laptop and checking the size of the logo.
1. Clean the surface of your device before you start.
2. Start peeling the skin from the backing paper in one of the corners. Align the edges making sure they are straight, while fitting the Apple logo cut-out over the logo on your MacBook. Take your time with this, if you fail to apply the skin correctly the first time you can gently peel the skin off to reapply it.
Please note: Skins are not meant for multiple applications, however if carefully removed they can be reapplied during the application process.
3. Once you’re happy with the alignment of your skin, press the skin to your device. If a crease or small air bubbles form don’t worry, the adhesive will allow for these to be pressed and smoothed away (use your plastic credit card to help with this).
4. That’s it! Enjoy your MacBook’s stylish new look.
